This project focuses is a collaboration between a wide range of scholars and practitioners including Latin Americanist researchers, Caribbeanist researchers, and professionals focused on South Asia and the South Pacific. The project focused on three main areas of climate change: glacial melt in the Andes and Himalayas; climate-related stress upon urban waters systems in South Asia and South America; and the vulnerabilities of small island archipelagos in the Caribbean and South Pacific. It is one of four projects examining religion in Latin America by the Center for Latin American and Latino Studies (CLALS) at American University.
