Abtsam Saleh is the lab coordinator and Outreach Student Fellow at the Harvard University Program in Islamic Law. She is a PhD candidate in the study of religion with a secondary focus in data science at Harvard’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
Before joining Harvard’s Program in Islamic Law, Abtsam was an Assembly Student Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, the managing editor of the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion, and a Junior Fellow at Harvard Divinity School’s Science Religion, and Culture program. She received her BA with honors from Hunter College, the City University of New York, and an MDiv from Harvard Divinity School.
